Bernstine Receives Committee Assignments for Upcoming Session

HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) today announced he was assigned to serve on the House Commerce and Insurance committees during the 2019-20 legislative session. Winter Storm Harper Approaching: Borough Parking Reminder

The Borough of Ellwood City has issued a press release this afternoon in anticipation of this weekend’s snowy winter weather in the forecast.  Winter Storm Harper is approaching Western Pennsylvania and is anticipating to dump 8″-12″ of snow in local areas. According to the release, and due to the upcoming inclement weather, the Borough would like to remind residents to park in their driveway whenever possible so that streets can be plowed and salted. (New Castle, PA) Butler County Community College has announced that BC3 at Lawrence Crossing will host an orientation on January 8 for students seeking to enroll in a free, month long basic health care employment skills certificate program. PITTSBURGH – Two residents of Ellwood City, pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of violating federal narcotics laws, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced earlier this week.
