Ellwood City Hungarian Home gives $750 scholarships to graduates of Lincoln, Riverside

(Ellwood City) Levi Smith and Kathryn Coyne, graduates of Lincoln and Riverside high schools, respectively, have been selected to receive $750 scholarships from the Ellwood City Hungarian Home. Smith, a son of Joanne Smith of Harmony, plans to attend Drexel University in Philadelphia this fall and major in accounting. Coyne, a daughter of Robert and Margaret Coyne of Beaver Falls, also plans to attend Drexel University and major in product design. Local Water/Sewer Projects Receive $3 Million in State Funding

Keller, Ellwood City Down Riverside To Claim 69th Little League Championship

Jordan Keller powered Ellwood City to a 10-8 victory over Riverside Saturday night, helping EC claim its championship in the 69th Ellwood City Little League Tournament. Keller collected a home run, two doubles and six RBI. Ellwood City successfully defended its title from last season and won its first back-to-back titles since 1971-1972. Bernstine Announces $1.1 Million in Funding for Beaver, Lawrence, Butler Counties

At first glance, the semifinal playoff game had all the makings of a great game. Two evenly matched teams were meeting for the third time with both teams collecting a victory. Lincoln High School Posts Return to School Plan Survey For Parents

Ellwood City Area School District announced on Tuesday a ‘Return to School Plan Survey’ for Lincoln High School parents via a Google Forms survey published on the district site. [The district is] asking all parents of students in grades 7-12 complete the google form survey by Sunday, August 16 at 10:00 PM. Bernstine Announces School Districts, Career and Technical Schools Receive Grants

HARRISBURG – Rep.
