On December 16th, 2021 Mayor Anthony J. Court and Officers from Ellwood City Police Department presented Cara Atkinson, the founder of Club Hope, with $800.00.
The money was donated to the Officers for their participation in “No Shave November”.
Officers are hoping to make “No Shave November” an annual event so that they are able to raise money for Club Hope Foundation.
Last month, both Ellwood City and Franklin Township Police Departments announced they would be participating in ‘No Shave November’, a month-long journey whereby participants ditch razors and forego shaving and grooming facial hair as part of an effort to raise awareness and money to fight cancer.
