Robert E. Lees (Bob) passed away the morning of November 21, 2021, at Shenango on the Green in New Wilmington, PA after a lengthy health battle. Bob was born in Sharon, PA on May 15, 1932, the son of Joe and Evelyn (Swogger) Lees. He graduated from Sharon High School, and then went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in History from Grove City College. Born January 4, 1952 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Willis A. and Rosemary A. Murphey Cooper. He was married to Jackie Rae Patterson Cooper for 48 years. Bill grew up farming with his grandparents on the family farm. He graduated from Vo-Tech in 1971 where he studied carpentry.
