Ann C. Oprisu, 94, of New Beaver Borough passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Avalon Place.
Born November 19, 1927 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Hugo and Elizabeth DeLeonardis Ciro. She was married to Eugene Oprisu for 47 years when he passed on September 5, 1997.
Ann was a graduate of Wampum High School. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. She loved tending to her flowers and was well known for how beautiful they looked. She was a very giving woman, especially to her family.
Survivors include her niece with whom she resided, Tammy (T.R.) Widdowfield of New Galilee, and many more nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The last of her family, Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband, four brothers; Dom, James, Tony “Archie”, and Joseph Ciro; and three sisters; Mary Miccachione, Polly Takas, and Rose Hughes.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of the Blessing Service at 11:00 am with Father Mark Thomas officiating at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.
Entombment will follow in St. Peter’s Mausoleum at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
