He was born in Butler on October 14, 1965, to the late Edward and Blanche Eichenauer Burr. Doug graduated from Seneca Valley and worked at Gateway Recycling for 12 years. For 15 years he served as a Franklin Twp Volunteer Fireman. Doug was an avid fan of dirt track racing and was a valued member of the Shayne Izzo Motorsport Crew.
