Born June 11, 1940 in Ellwood City Hospital, she was the daughter of John and Mary Walukiewicz Modliszewski. Norberta, the last of her family, was preceded in death by two brothers, John Frances who died in infancy (1932) and James Frederick in 2007. Born June 17, 1925 in Koppel, he was the son of the late John and Sophie Kwashicki Stefura. He married Ann Fidell Stefura on June 16, 1951.
