Karen A. Stalnecker, 77, of Darlington passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital. Born August 21, 1946 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Dudick) Kotuby. Karen graduated from Riverside High School and continued her education at Slippery Rock University. She retired from the Beaver Falls School District after 30 years as an Elementary School Teacher. She was a former Elder and Deacon at the Darlington First Presbyterian Church. She is now affiliated with Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Born October 18, 1945 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Ancell Louis and Della Mae Ruehl Leonard. She was married to Gerald B. Hunter. Anita was a Veteran of both the Army and Navy serving during Vietnam. She was first employed as the parts manager for M&D Auto on Croton Ave., then she worked at Vital Records until her retirement.
