Born August 21, 1946 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Dudick) Kotuby. Karen graduated from Riverside High School and continued her education at Slippery Rock University. She retired from the Beaver Falls School District after 30 years as an Elementary School Teacher.
