Urie C. Yoder, 75, of Little Beaver Township passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his residence following a farm accident. Born July 4, 1949 in Enon Valley, he was the son of the late Christie S. and Mary Hostetler Yoder. He was married to Bonnie Thomas Yoder. Urie retired from Kuhn’s Brothers Lumber, Lewisburg PA, where he worked as a laborer and forklift operator. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and working on his farm, and local dirt-track racing. Betty Leddon, 62, of Squaw Run Rd. Wayne Township passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 13, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 6, 1962 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Anna Mae Stanford Oliver. Betty worked in the dietary department at UPMC Cranberry Place. A lover of all animals, she raised pugs, was on the board of Feline Friends of Ellwood City and was a member of the Lawrence County Animal Relief Fund. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gambling. Anthony Rockar Jr, 87, of New Galilee passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born May 14, 1937 in Campbell, OH, he was the son of the late Anthony Sr. and Julia Stralick Rockar. He was married to Dolores Woods Rockar when she passed away in 1999. Anthony worked at the J & L in Aliquippa as an equipment operator and was a member of the LMBA and a social member of the VFW both in New Galilee.
