Born April 29, 1939 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Glenn E. McDonald and Gertrude E. Smock. She was married for 59 years to Robert Altman who survives. Glenda was a member of the First Baptist Church on Maitland Lane in New Castle. She has been a member of the New Beaver Fire Department Auxiliary for the past 33 years. Z. Ann McKim, 85, of Pershing St., Ellwood City passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born November 2, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Wimer Cook . Ann graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. She held many different jobs, including being a beautician, bus driver and crossing guard. She was a member of the Wurtemburg United Presbyterian Church and the Lillyville Church of God. Agnes D’Ambrosia, 99, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away in Paso Robles, CA, on Monday, November 27, 2017. Born September 8, 1918 in Branchton, PA, she was the daugter of the late Alfonso and Margaret DeRose D’Amore. She was married to Alphonso D’Ambrosia for 69 years who passed away in 2007. Agnes was a longtime member of the Red Hat Society. She worked at the Ellwood Knitting Mill and then as the head cook at St. Joseph Nursing Home until her retirement. Chelsee Marie Bevington, 22, of North Sewickely Twp. (formerly of Wampum) passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Chelsee was born June 22, 1995 in Ellwood City. She graduated from Lincoln High School where she played softball. Her most cherished time was spent caring for her daughter. Survivors include her mother, Tracey Dicianno of Wampum, father, Robert E. Bevington of Florida; a daughter, Farrah Giovanna Bevington; brother, Shawn Hardesty of Wampum; grandfather, Sam Dicianno of Wampum; and grandmother, Lonnie DeLargy of West Palm Beach, Florida. Janice E. Kelly, 76, of New Beaver Boro died Friday, November 17, 2017 at Jameson Hospital. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born September 9, 1941 in Kane, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick A.and Beatrice Bushley Phillips.  She was married for 34 years to Carl M. Kelly who survives. They were married December 5, 1983. In addition to her husband, Carl, survivors include one son, Steven C. (Gretchen) Kelly of Bostic North Carolina and a sister, Diana (Ronald) Lineman of Oil City. Robert F. Smorada Sr., 80, of Ellwood City, passed away Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 21, 1937 in Haydenville, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph R. and Valeria Ann Buran Smorada.  He was married for 59 years to Marcia Lee Osterwise Smorada who survives. They were married September 29, 1958. Bob graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1960. Ricky L. Blaskowitz, 48, of Second St., Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly at work on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Born October 5, 1969 in Sharon, he was the son of Dennis and Emma L. Frederick D. “Buz” Stelter, 86, of Boyd School Rd., Wampum (Shenango Twp.) passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following an extended illness. Born April 13, 1931 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Fred D. and Virginia Bowden Stelter. He was married for 64 years to Florence “Allie” Alden Stelter as they were married February 26, 1953.
