Codie Renee Lovitt, nee Gasser, 35, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 following neurological complications ultimately causing heart failure. Codie was born June 10, 1982 at the Beaver Valley Medical Center, the daughter of Charlene Sypolt and the late William Ray Gasser, Jr. She attended Beaver Falls Area Schools and Blackhawk Schools graduating in 2000 and also graduated from Everest University with a degree in criminal justice. Marilyn J. Wiltrout, 83, of Perry Twp. Ellwood City passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at her residence following a brief illness. Born September 15, 1934 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late James Ervil and Martha VanGorder McDevitt. Marilyn graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. She was active with the Wurtemburg Perry Ladies Fire Department Auxiliary and also worked on the Perry Township Election Board. She was a member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church. Guy J. Aromatorio, 88, of Main St., Wampum passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a brief illness. A lifelong resident, Guy was born July 28, 1929 in Wampum. He was the son of the late George and Jennie Bennett Aromatorio. He was married to Betty L. Houk Aromatorio who passed away May 10, 1999. June Flynt-Barton, 92, of Aliquippa, formerly of Wampum, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the West Hills Health and Rehab Center in Coraopolis. June was born in Wampum on November 26, 1925. A daughter of the late Vincent Ray McBride and Iva E. McBride, she lived there for 70 years before moving to Aliquippa in 1995. June was primarily a homemaker, but while in Wampum was an active member of the Wampum Presbyterian Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, Elder, and Bible Study Leader. James T. Irwin, Jr. (Jim) – 74, passed away peacefully at Golden Hill Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 following a lengthy illness. Jim was born on July 6, 1943 in Ellwood City to the late James T. Irwin, Sr. and Virginia Telford Irwin. Jim would have been married 50 years in June to Michele Kraynak Irwin who survives.
