Born Jan. 30, 1930 in East Palestine, Oh., she was the daughter of the late Lyman and Mary Jane VanKirk Schultz. Betty retired from Conley’s Irish Pub where she was the head cook. She then worked at Little Joes in Beaver Falls for a few years. She was a member of the Chewton Christian Church. Betty was an accomplished cook and baker. John T. “Jack” Frickanish, 86, of Dutch Ridge Road, Ellwood City (Slippery Rock Twp.) passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. Born July 21, 1929 in Chewton, he was the son of the late John and Josephine Zohosky Frickanish. He was married for 65 years to Ruth E. Leonhardt Frickanish who survives. Charlie Baird, 79, of North Sewickley Twp., Beaver Falls died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at his residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected.
