Betty J. Street, 85, of Chewton passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at the Rochester Manor. Born Jan. 30, 1930 in East Palestine, Oh., she was the daughter of the late Lyman and Mary Jane VanKirk Schultz. Betty retired from Conley’s Irish Pub where she was the head cook. She then worked at Little Joes in Beaver Falls for a few years. She was a member of the Chewton Christian Church. Betty was an accomplished cook and baker. Born Feb. 25, 1959 in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Roberta McDonald Cooper. She was married to Duane Reed who passed away in 2007. Pam graduated from Hopewell High School in 1977. She worked as a nurse’s aid at McGuire Home for 25 years. He was a member of the Teamster’s Union through McGuire Home. Charlie Baird, 79, of North Sewickley Twp., Beaver Falls died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at his residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born July 26, 1936 in North Sewickley Twp., he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine Baird. He was married for 33 years to Shirley Baird as they were married Oct. 30, 1982. She survives. Charlie owned and operated his own trucking company for 35 years. He then drove for FBC Chemicals in Mars until his retirement in 1998.
