Ellwood Area Family Center Hosting Youth Baseball Clinic in February

The Ellwood Area Family Center will be hosting a youth baseball clinic in February. The goal is to enhance youth baseball in the community and will be open to players ages 10-12. The clinic will be run by Coach Jeff Fotia, former Ellwood City high school baseball coach who won multiple section titles and a PIAA state championship in 2003 and former players from the state championship team. Ellwood City Declares State of Emergency Due to Weather Conditions

Mayor Anthony J. Court along with the borough of Ellwood City has declared a state of emergency today January 26, 2026. Ellwood City and many surrounding communities received upwards of a foot of snowfall throughout the day Sunday and will be faced with bitter cold temperatures for the next week.
