Christ Presbyterian Church Boar’s Head Festival Returns!

After a two year hiatus, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Christ Presbyterian Church is happy to announce the return of the “Boar’s Head Festival.” The festival will take place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and, again on Saturday, December 3, 2022 and on Sunday, December 4, 2022. The performance on November 26, 2022 will be presented at 7:00 p.m.; the following weekend’s presentations will be at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 and at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Lincoln High School To Offer European Trip In Summer 2024

Lincoln High School is planning an educational European tour for the summer of 2024. Students will experience Paris, Provence, and Barcelona, Spain, over a 10 day trip according to Jason Bell, Spanish Teacher at Lincoln. The trip is open to all students who are currently enrolled in 9th through 12th grade. Bell and Mrs. Mandy Long will chaperon the trip coordinated with EF Tours, the district educational travel partner. PHOTOS: Panthers Shutout Wolverines

Four Panthers scored to propel Riverside to a 28-0 road victory over the Wolverines Friday night during the Ellwood City Senior Night. After a scoreless first frame, backers Robert Janis and Noah George collected touchdown runs in the second quarter to help the visiting Panthers to an early 14-0 lead. In the third quarter Riverside quarterback Samuel Hughes found Ayden Garcia on a 10-yard touchdown pass and Hughes capped off the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 10 yard touchdown scamper. Fluharty, Wissinger, Custer Qualify For PIAA Cross Country Championships

Three local athletes have qualified for the upcoming PIAA State Cross Country Championships. Riverside junior Lexi Fluharty finished runner-up Thursday afternoon in the WPIAL Class-A Cross Country Championships held at California University of Pennsylvania. Fluharty finished with a time 19:58.4. Joining Fluharty in qualifying for next week’s state championships is fellow junior Brooke Wissinger who finished with a 9th place time of 21:38.4.
