Yesterday, House Bill 2030, which modifies the Ellwood City borough electric department, passed in a 106-89 vote. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Aaron Bernstine, R-10, New Beaver, will now pass to the state senate. Dorothy E. McClintick, 88, of Trinity Oaks Nursing Home, formerly of McKinley St., Ellwood City passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness. Born August 23, 1929 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Weisz Weller. She was married to Jack C. McClintick who passed away April 24, 2009. Dorothy was a member and former Deacon at the Calvin Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels Program in Ellwood for many years. Her most cherished time was spent with family.
