Cherian Rae Small, 76, of New Castle passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at UPMC Montefiore following a brief illness.
Born January 30, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Irene Hazel Foreman.
Cherian had graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked as a beautician and was Presbyterian by faith. She loved dancing and sewing. Her grand and great-grandchildren were her life.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle (Joshua Fair Sr.) Stevens of New Castle and Brenda Malinowsky of Aiken, SC; three sisters, Shelba Jean (Carl) Mancich of Boiling Springs, PA, Mary Anna (Elvin II) Jenkins of Ellwood City, and Charlene Cooper of Beaver Falls; three brothers, Ronald (Linda) of Harmony, Jeffrey of Ellwood City, and Gregory Foreman of Dillsburg, PA; five grandchildren, Laura Stevens, Annastacia (Taylor) Johnson, Christopher and Cody Barber, and Savannah Harsh; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie Barber and her brother Richard Foreman.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday March 3, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Dennis Arndt will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Funeral Home in care of the family.
