Mayor Anthony J. Court announced today that the Borough of Ellwood City Trick-or-Treat will be held on Saturday, October 31st , Halloween evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The day will also feature a Halloween Parade at 3:30 p.m., giving families and children an opportunity to show off their creative costumes before the trick-or-treating begins.
“The safety of our children is a top priority,” said Court in a statement. “Parents are encouraged to accompany young trick-or-treaters, use reflective clothing or flashlights to increase visibility, and remind children to stay on sidewalks and cross streets carefully.”
To help make Halloween both safe and enjoyable, members of the Police and Fire Departments will be out in the community throughout the evening, passing out candy and helping ensure everyone’s safety.
Mayor Court wishes all residents a happy, fun-filled, and safe Halloween.
