Ellwood City Electric Extended Payment Plan

When a residential customer receives a notice of delinquency, he/she must apply for an extended payment plan unless payment is being paid IN FULL.

Extended Payment Plan Conditions 

  1. Payment plan shall not exceed 90 days after original due date.
  2. Agreed amounts are payable for 30-60-90 day periods.
  3. If amounts are not paid under the current agreement, plans for a second extended plan SHALL NOT be granted.
  4. It is understood and made clear to persons receiving extended payment plans that current bills MUST also be paid and cannot be made part of the current extended plan.
  5. If the residential customer is a tenant or person other than the property owner, the payment plan shall be subject to the property owner’s or landlord’s written approval.
  6. The completed plan must be approved by a Borough Electric employee or Borough Manager.
  7. If delinquencies relative to the plan continue, the residential service will be terminated.
