Holy Name Society president, Frank Aloi welcomed the attendees and guests at the picnic, which included the seven most recent HNS members in attendance.

Mr. Aloi went on to say: “while our Society offers many opportunities for service and outreach, the principal emphasis is on promoting love for God, reverence for His Holy Name, prayer, and Christian fellowship by performing the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. ”

Meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from September thru June after the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass at Holy Redeemer Church.

All practicing Catholic men, in the Divine Grace Parish, are welcome to attend these meetings and to consider joining the Holy Name Society to meet and enjoy the fellowship of other Catholic men who share the same faith journey. Coffee and donuts are served prior to the meeting.

Mr. Aloi reminded the members, that at the September meeting, a total of 20 members will be inducted in the Society along with the installation of the officers.
