Community Baby Shower To Be Hosted By Divine Grace Parish

A FREE community baby shower will be hosted by Divine Grace Parish (Holy Redeemer) in April. The shower is taking place on Sunday, April 14th at St Ferdinand Church in Cranberry Township. Pregnant and new moms in need of items are encourages to attend this event scheduled to take place from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. The event features welcome gifts, raffles, appetizers and dessert, informational speakers, great giveaways, and community resources.  Need babysitting? EC Wolves Club Den Provides Donations

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II met on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at the Connequenessing Country Club. At the meeting they presented a donation of $500 to the Ellwood City Meals on Wheels Program. Director Terry Crespo thanked the Wolves Club for their continued support of the important community program where thirty citizens receive meals Monday through Friday. Due to donations like theirs the program has not had to raise the costs to the participants. Wolves Club members serve as drivers and meal preparers. There is a need for drivers to deliver the meals. Divine Grace Parish Food Bank Receives Proclamation

Mayor Anthony J. Court proudly presented a proclamation to Divine Grace Ministerium Social Services and Food Bank on Wednesday, June 14th. Divine Grace is a ministry to feed and give aid to less fortunate. “They have provided outstanding service and dedication to our community for over 30 years,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement. Knights Of Columbus Provided Donation To Divine Grace

The Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council 11389 provided a $500 donation to the Divine Grace Ministerium Social Services this week Pictured below and receiving the check are Jan Baur and Cathy DeBlaso, co-directors of Social Services. New Social Services Sign Donated

A new sign was donated and installed at the Divine Grace Parish Ministerium Social Services Office at 311 Lawrence Avenue in July, Holy Redeemer Parish merged with St Ferdinand in Cranberry and St Gregory in Zelienople to create Divine Grace Parish. The Social Services sign was donated by the Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council 11389 of Ellwood City. The Divine Grace Parish Ministerium Social Services Office handles approximately 350 clients from the Ellwood City area as well as coordinating appropriate assistance with area churches in the Ministerium.
