Wander Ellwood Rescheduled for Wednesday, July 23, Because of Rain Storms

Wander Ellwood’s July event has been rescheduled for Wednesday July 23 after rain storms forced the first cancellation ever of the beloved event.

Councilman Brad Ovial said the event is so popular the Chamber of Commerce wouldn’t consider not rescheduling it.

Per the Chamber, “Entertainment details for the new date are still being confirmed, and we’ll share more as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding. We’ll see you next week!”

This open street night, organized by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce, transforms Lawrence Avenue into a bustling hub of activity from 5 to 9 p.m. The event showcases over 80 vendors, including food trucks, craft breweries, wineries, and local businesses, offering a diverse array of products and experiences for attendees.

Wander Ellwood was introduced in 2023 as part of a broader initiative to revitalize downtown Ellwood City and promote local commerce. The event has since become a beloved tradition, bringing together residents and visitors to celebrate the town’s rich cultural tapestry. Each installment features a lineup of live music, local vendors, and family-friendly activities, making it a highlight of the summer season.

Following the July 23 event, Wander Ellwood will continue throughout the summer with the following schedule:

  • September 10, 2025Performance by Tony Barge & The Honky Tonk Heroes

Each event promises a unique experience, contributing to the ongoing success and popularity of Wander Ellwood.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities. Wander Ellwood is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of community spirit and local talent.
