Wander Ellwood Extended by An Hour Tonight!

Wander Ellwood is tonight and residents will get an extra hour to enjoy what the city has to offer.

Council extended the Wander Ellwood event for July to allow for an extra hour of entertainment, shopping, events and and simply “wandering” the city. The event will be from 5 to 9 p.m.

Ellwood City’s own open-air street night hosts vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment among the commerce and small businesses in downtown Ellwood City.

Councilman Brad Ovial, who is also president of Ellwood City Revitalization, the group that co-hosts the event with Ellwood City Community Enrichment said he is really looking forward to this event.

“It’s my understanding that we have at least 95 vendors for the event, and I also hear there could be an appearance and acknowledgement of the Riverside State Champion Baseball Team,” said Ovial.

He said the event seems to grow with each month with new vendors and attendees.

Tonight’s entertainment features Elmoz Fire Band. Elmoz Fire, a Pittsburgh-based band, entertains audiences with the very best in Funk, R&B, and Dance music. The band is fronted by two dynamic vocalists and backed by very talented instrumentalists. They are a true R&B show band that covers a broad spectrum of styles. Wanderers might remember Elmoz Fire from the Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food, and Entertainment Festival in Ewing Park.

Local favorite, RMS Trio Ellwood City will play from 5:30-7:30
Also, Magician, Pat Smith will also be Wandering around performing!
Wander Ellwood continues the first Wednesday of every month through October.
