Erin Lechner Receives First ECCHF Scholarship

Erin Jenna Lechner is the recipient of the first scholarship given by Ellwood City Community Health Foundation.

Erin is a graduate of Lincoln High School in 2018, Grove City College in 2022, and is now enrolled in Chatham University’s Physician Assistant Studies. Erin plans to work in the Beaver/Lawrence/Butler County area after she is a certified Physician Assistant.

In March 2023, the Ellwood City Community Health Foundation scholarship application for 2023-2024 will be available on their website www.ellwoodcitychf.org.

The Ellwood City Community Health Foundation has awarded a grant for $2,120 to Twelve Loaves Soup Kitchen located in New Brighton for the purchase of a new stove. Twelve Loaves Soup Kitchen is dedicated to serving the people of New Brighton and Beaver County with a place of comfort and acceptance, as well as delicious and nutritious food. The kitchen serves between 2500-3000 meals per month.

Ellwood City Community Health Foundation provides grants to non-profit entities who improve, foster, promote, and enhance the quality and health for the general public of Lawrence and Beaver counties.
