The Ellwood City Community Health Foundation (ECCHF) has been approved to offer scholarships to individuals who enroll in higher education to pursue a career in the medical field.
The Foundation is offering four scholarships for the 2022-2023 Academic School Year.
Two scholarships will be given for Financial Need and two for Scholastic Achievement.
Each scholarship will be given for four years as along as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.0 at the end of each semester. The amount of each scholarship for the 2022-2023 year is $5,000 per academic year up to $20,000 over four years. Each candidate must demonstrate how their career in the medical field will improve, foster, promote, and enhance the quality of life and health for the general public of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, or Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
The applicant can attend a Community College, College, University, or trade school; however, their educational study must be related to healthcare and be a resident of Beaver County or Lawrence County.
The application for the scholarship needs to be completed by November 4, 2022 and can found on the Ellwood City Community Health Foundation website: www.ellwoodcitychf.org
