Two-time defending WPIAL champion Riverside boys track & field team advanced to the WPIAL championships this week after semifinal meet victory on Tuesday.
The Riverside boys will go for their third title in a row and will attempt to knock off Class AA challengers Shenango, South Park and Waynesburg. Last year the Panthers defeated Mohawk, South Park, and Freedom to claim its championship.
The 2019 championships will be held Monday at Peters Township with all meets beginning at 4:00pm
