Wilda Elizabeth Graham Miller, 92

On July 12, 2016, Wilda Elizabeth Graham Miller, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Wilda was born on June 20, 1924 in Wurtemburg, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Mary Hines Graham. In her early years she worked at Isaly’s. After Graduating from Lincoln High School in 1943, she graduated from a Red Cross training course as a Nurse’s Aide and also worked in the Tube Mill Order Department during World War II. On February 9, 1946 she married Arlie Russell Miller, a loving and caring husband of 70 years who survives her.

She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed caring for her home and family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ellwood City and is currently a member of Providence Baptist Church and was always very involved in church activities. She worked with the teen girls group (Guild Girls), taught Sunday School classes and was a deaconess. If someone needed a meal or a visit, Wilda loved to meet those needs. She loved the Lord and His word; she loved to memorize scripture. She also worked many years on the election board.

In addition to her husband Arlie, Wilda is survived by her four children, Harry (Lee) Miller of Phoenix, AZ, Pamela (Chuck) Wright of Ellwood City, Sharon (Dave) Pound of Mansfield, Ohio and Bethany Boshers of Charlotte, NC, nine grandchildren; Suzanne Boshers, Michael (Tina) Miller, Richard (Dawn) Miller, Eric (Tina) Miller, Shawn Miller, Jay (Heidi) Pound, Mathew (Audrey) Pound, James Boshers and Joshua Boshers, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Russell Miller, a grandson, Jonathan Graham Pound, a son-in-law, James Alfred Boshers II, two brothers Donald and Nelson Graham and a sister, Themla Downing.

Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service to celebrate and honor Wilda at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 18th at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Calvin Cummings and Pastor Jay Pound. Memorial contributions can be made in Wilda’s name to Providence Baptist Church. The family wishes to give a special thank you to Gateway Hospice for their loving care!
