Aiden Gaydosz accounted for three touchdowns and Montgomery Michael added two rushing touchdowns as Riverside defeated New Brighton 33-22 Friday night at Riverside Memorial Stadium. Gaydosz threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers. The Riverside Panthers continued their impressive offensive start to their regular season with a 40-6 victory over Riverview Friday night at Riverside Memorial Stadium. With the victory, Riverside improved to 3-0 on its regular season campaign. The offense was powered by quarterback Aiden Gaydosz who went to the air (15-24 passing) to the tune of 198 yards and two touchdowns. Ellwood City Names Sean McConahy As Next Football Head Coach

The Wolverines have their new head coach for its football program. Ellwood City hired Sean McConahy as its next head high school football coach during a special board meeting on Friday, February 20th. McConahy, a current science teacher at LHS, brings experience in the district, passion for football and conditioning, and coaching experience at one of more recent success stories in District 10 (Wilmington coaching staff).
