Riverside Lions Continues Hygiene Project With Hygiene Boxes At Local Stores

They’re back! Pictured with King Lion Chip Campbell of the Riverside/Hopewell Lions Club are Joe Cisco from the Giant Eagle store and Heather Ciallella of the Franklin Township Dollar General Store, standing beside the Hygiene Helpers boxes located at their respective stores. The box at Giant Eagle is located at the end of the Fast Checkout line and Dollar Generals is located by the last check-out register. Riverside Lions Help Fix Up Franklin Park

Some members of the Riverside Lions and community volunteers painted the tables at Franklin Park on Monday. Joan Bowser, Jim and Gigi Davies, and Dana Baker, cleaned, scrapped and painted the picnic tables at Franklin Park, Monday July 19th. The Lions provided the paint through a donation from Lenore Bazzichi. Lions members Chip Campbell and Mike Milnes also helped in the project. New Lion member Amy Alexander was also instrumental in the project. The Lions maintain shelters at both Franklin Park and Bradshaw Park in North Sewickley Township. Riverside Lions Club Participates in Work Weekend

District Governor Chips Campbell and Lion Mike Milnes of the Riverside Lions recently participated in a District 14 N Work Weekend at the Beacon Lodge Camp in Mt. Union, PA. The work weekend helps the camp get ready for the incoming campers. This has been maintained by the Lions of Pennsylvania and is designed specially to host the blind and visually impaired in the state. The complex offers three different areas for housing including a Children’s Village, Adult Village and the dorm buildings.
