Riverside Lions Help Fix Up Franklin Park

Some members of the Riverside Lions and community volunteers painted the tables at Franklin Park on Monday. Joan Bowser, Jim and Gigi Davies, and Dana Baker, cleaned, scrapped and painted the picnic tables at Franklin Park, Monday July 19th.

The Lions provided the paint through a donation from Lenore Bazzichi. Lions members Chip Campbell and Mike Milnes also helped in the project. New Lion member Amy Alexander was also instrumental in the project.

The Lions maintain shelters at both Franklin Park and Bradshaw Park in North Sewickley Township. The Lions would like to thank the Franklin Township Supervisors who helped in the major refurbishing of the shelter earlier this year. They would also like to thank the Work Family who painted the tables at Bradshaw Park. It was unexpected and welcomed.

The Riverside Lions will set out the Hygiene Helpers Boxes at Dollar General and Giant Eagle on August 1. Please keep them in mind and look for the box. All donations go to local services.
