Riverside Lions Help Fix Up Franklin Park

Some members of the Riverside Lions and community volunteers painted the tables at Franklin Park on Monday. Joan Bowser, Jim and Gigi Davies, and Dana Baker, cleaned, scrapped and painted the picnic tables at Franklin Park, Monday July 19th. The Lions provided the paint through a donation from Lenore Bazzichi. Lions members Chip Campbell and Mike Milnes also helped in the project. New Lion member Amy Alexander was also instrumental in the project. The Lions maintain shelters at both Franklin Park and Bradshaw Park in North Sewickley Township. Franklin Community Park Announces Summer Story Time

Time for some tales. Franklin Community Park will be hosting Summer Story Time for children and parents to come do story time together. The event is once a week and will take place every Thursday starting at 1:30 p.m. There already have been a few story times but the event will continue Thursday, July 15, July 22, and with the last story time being on Thursday, July 29th.
