Moraine State Park Regatta Returns August 2nd & 3rd

(Portersville, PA) – Butler County’s signature summer event, The Moraine State Park Regatta, returns August 2nd and 3rd. The annual weekend-long event connects thousands of people with the outdoors through free, hands-on environmental education and eco-recreational activities, including paddleboarding, fishing, archery, and yoga. Moraine State Park Regatta Aims to Improve Shoreline

Moraine State Park Regatta is looking forward to raising funds for a shoreline improvement project on the south shore of Moraine State Park. This proposed project is a shoreline stabilization project along the south shore, near the “Picnic Point”. Moraine State Park is a beautiful place, and this shoreline stabilization project has two primary purposes, both structural and environmental, as well as tourism-related. By stabilizing the shoreline along the south shore, the lake is being preserved.
