Ellwood City Community Enrichment and the Lawrence County Earth Day Committee invites you to attend Lawrence County Earth Day in Ewing Park, Ellwood City on April 22nd from 10am – 2pm and learn about environmental issues, buy “green” products from vendors, and eat a free hotdog! In a rematch of last year’s WPIAL semifinal, the Lady Wolverines traveled to Homestead on Tuesday afternoon and once again came away with a hard fought victory. They are now 4-0 on the season and in sole possession of first place in the section with a record of 3-0.   Skyla Greco was dominant in the circle as she tossed a two hitter. As the seniors of 2017 are getting ready to move on from high school, two Lincoln High School seniors are preparing for their future after they signed their letter of intent this week. Two Local Moms Baking Their Way to Lawrence Avenue

Sweet Caroline’s isn’t the only sweet-based business coming to Lawrence Avenue this season; The Sweet Shop, a specialty bakery, will be opening their doors next to Kimpel’s Jewelers sometime in the late spring or early summer. One of the most extravagant shows, the Tamburitzans – starring a Lincoln High graduate, is coming to Ellwood City this Sunday and tickets are still available! The concert is at Lincoln Junior Senior High School at 3p.m. Discounted reserved seat tickets at $25 may be obtained on talentshadows.events website or by calling the box office at 412-974-6465 for ticket will-call arrangements.
