Mr. Ronald L. Stuck, 71, of New Beaver Boro passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2016 in the Heritage Valley Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer. Ronald was born on January 31, 1945 in Rochester to the late Leroy and Margie Mace Stuck. He is a member of the Beaver High School class of 1963. Ellwood City zoning laws haven’t seen an update in many years. Folk singer Bob Dylan was penning his first songs when Ellwood borough councils were penning many of the zoning laws. DUI Motor Vehicle Assault A Beaver Falls man driving a motorcycle was seriously injured by a drunk driver in an incident on May 28. The victim, Michael D. Stevenson, was thrown 25 feet from his vehicle and transported to the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment. He has since been released. Gibbons to Host Free Shredding Event this Saturday

BEAVER FALLS, June 14 – State Rep. Jaret Gibbons, D-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence, is hosting a free shredding event for the community to destroy unneeded confidential documents. Paul A. Maochi, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 in his residence. Paul was born on Jan. 24, 1922 in New Galilee to the late Peter and Angeline (Caroni) Maochi. Police: Ellwood Sexual Offender Fails to Register

Failure to Register as a Sexual Offender An Ellwood City man was charged with failing to register as a sexual offender. According to the criminal complaint, Michael Paul Henry, 35, has not checked in with the state police Megan’s Law Registration Unit since March 10, 2016 and is required to do so once a month. Investigating officers checked Henry’s residence at 224 Lawrence Ave. and saw Henry through a window, but  the offender did not answer the door.
