Mr. Joseph C. Nardone, 96, of Koppel, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2023. Born November 1st, 1926, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Charles & Rose (Petti) Nardone. Joe graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1944. He served in the US Army from February 1st, 1945 until his honorable discharge on November 22nd, 1946 with the 86th Infantry Division stationed in the Philippines with the rank of Sargant. POLICE: Woman Found Shot Dead In Truck In Perry Township

A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found shot dead inside a Toyota pickup truck overnight Friday. According to the police report, and at approximately 3:17 a.m. on Saturday, PA State Police located a vehicle over a hillside along River Road in Perry Township near Butler Avenue. Emergency responders found a 39-year-old female from Corry, PA deceased inside the truck, partially over a hillside, with an apparent gunshot wound. Borough Council Extends Invite to ECASD Board of Directors to Discuss Softball Field Location Options

THEFT: Thomas Reed, 36, of New Castle, is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking after an incident on July 28th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 9:03 a.m. police received a call from a victim in regards to credit card theft and who related her debit card was stolen from her husbands vehicle while he was at work.
