Mrs. Geri L. Mantz, 79, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, November 19th, 2023 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.. Mrs. Mantz was born on March 11th, 1944 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Maxine (Diehl) Molnar. She had graduated from Mars High School with the class of 1962. Geri started her working career as a stewardess with Eastern Airlines. After moving to Ellwood City she worked at Helen’s Dress Shop, Newman’s Pharmacy, and most recently at Kimpel’s Jewelers. She is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers….

Mrs. Betty Ruth Rodgers-Haswell, 92, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2023 at the Avalon Nursing Home. Ruth was born on October 24th, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late John and Elizabeth (Hango) Bakty. She will be deeply missed. Andrea R. Eversole, 40, of New Beaver Borough passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 16, 2023 of natural causes at her home. Born August 24, 1983 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Kim M. Gaus Cody. Andrea had graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech and then from Nursing School. Lloyd A. Myers Sr, 82 of Franklin Township passed away on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at Concordia Hospice in Baden. Lloyd was born September 30, 1941 in McKeesport, PA to the late John B. and Ann Katherine Walsh Myers. He was preceded in death by his mother on March 27, 1943, and by his father in 1996, Lloyd was raised by Lee and Flora Zellefrow of Kittanning, PA. Ron P. Kraynak, 82, of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the Golden Hill Nursing Home. Born December 24, 1940 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Kotuba Kraynak. He was married to Joyce M. Newton Kraynak when she passed away on September 29, 2020. Ron graduated from Lincoln in 1959. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962.
