Mr. John “Jack” Charles Hunter, 79, of Franklin Township (Frisco) passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24th, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family, from an extended illness. Mr. Hunter was born on December 9th, 1943 and raised in Hadley, PA the son of the late John H. and Hazel (Smock) Hunter. He had graduated from the Leechburg High School. Mrs. Vita L. Prence, 94, of Koppel passed away on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at Concordia at Villa St. Joseph in Baden. Mrs. Prence was born in Koppel on September 2nd, 1928 to the late Charles and Rose (Petti) Nardone. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1945. James L. “Butch” Buchanan, 78, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born November 25, 1944 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Wendell J. and Marjorie M. Knight Buchanan. He was married to Connie Powell Buchanan. Minnie Jo Lutz, 71, of Wayne Township, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at PAM Health Specialty Hospital in Brighton Township.
