Mrs. Frieda Theresia Pitelka, 93, of Ellwood City passed away the afternoon of January 14, 2024 at Quality Life Service of New Castle. Born in Zemun, Yugoslavia on August 23, 1930, Frieda was the daughter of the late Josef and Jovanika (Dragutinovic) Viola. Frieda married her beloved husband Frank Pitelka in Austria on September 11, 1948. They had made their home in Ellwood City since 1952. R. Sue Brain, 84, of New Castle passed away at UPMC Jameson on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Born in Butler, PA on June 12, 1939, Sue was the daughter of the late William Deryll and Lois Pollock Dailey.  She retired from Rockwell where she was a tool purchasing and distributing agent. Sue is survived by her son, Jeff (Joanie) Wright of Portersville, a granddaughter; Monica (Sean) Kantola of Wayne Township, a great grandson; Micah Kantola, and two brothers; William Dailey of San Diego, California and Deryll Dailey of Portersville.
