Following a brief illness David J. Koach, 77, of Portland Oregon, died June 23, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Ellwood City PA, he was the son of the late Glenn and Helenann (Tallon) Koach. Although moving to Portland in 1972, Dave always considered Ellwood City to be his home town. He came back often to visit family, neighbors, and friends by the score. Class reunions were a favorite along with a round or two of golf and stopping for pizza and a chili dog. Mrs. Mary Jo (Carusone) Showalter, 70, of Ellport beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 at her residence. Mary Jo was born on November 6th, 1954 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Sue (Bellissimo) Carusone. Dr. Wayne Patrick Burick, 86, of Chewton, PA, peacefully passed away on June 21st ,2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 17, 1939, in Chewton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Jessie (Rocco) Burick.
