George R. “Rick” Miller, 74

Mr. George R. “Rick” Miller, 74, of North Sewickley Twp. passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15th, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Miller was born on May 19th, 1949 to the late George R. and Geraldine (Walton) Miller Sr.. He had graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1968. Rick worked at the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill until it closed and then at Koppel Steel in both Ambridge and Koppel as a super craft, which included welding, pipe fitting, and maintenance mechanic. After retiring from Koppel Steel Rick worked as a parts runner for Advanced Auto in Franklin Twp.. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and as private pilot flying his Cessna.

Rick is survived by his wife Antoinette (Fernandez) Miller whom he married on June 14th, 1969, daughter Amy Hamilton and her companion Jay Johnston of North Sewickley Twp., son Richard D. (Erin) Miller of New Galilee, grandchildren Zach Hamilton, Jessica Hamilton, Haylee (Nick) Calabrese, Max Miller, Nicholas Miller, and Spencer Miller, great-grandchild Anacapri Calabrese, and his brother Ronald L. (Cheryl) Miller of Fombell.

Following Rick’s wishes there will not be a public service. Inurnment will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Beaver Falls. The final arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
