Daniel J. Kegarise, 62, of E. Edison Ave., New Castle died Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following complications arising from an unexpected heart attack. Born May 26, 1953 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ellis and Shirley Wehman Kegarise. He was married to Eleanor Durbin Kegarise who survives. Dan worked for Consolidated Glass Company. He had previously worked for the Union Township Road Department for 22 years. Dan also parked cars for Union High School home football games. Marianne Jubach, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in the Northview Estates. Jubach was born on Jan. 2, 1921 in Munich, Germany to the late Sabastian and Maria Kohler Winterer, Sr. She had graduated from high school and business school in Europe. Marianne worked at the Ellwood City Area Public Library as an aide for 13 years. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Christian Mothers of the parish. Ruth I. Steckman, 96, formerly of Brighton Road, Ellwood City passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family following a short illness. Born March 11, 1919 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Richard T. and Edna Sloan Stratton. She was married for 39 years to John C. “Jack” Steckman who passed away in 1975. David L. Servick, 63, of Squaw Run Road, Wayne Township, Ellwood City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born in Ellwood City on June 20, 1952 to the late Stanley Servick and the late Bernice Janis Servick. Kelly D. Alters, 42, of Franklin Township passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born in Ellwood City on Sept. 2, 1973, Kelly is the daughter of Gary Nicklas of Evans City and Glenda Brown Nicklas of Ellwood City. She married David Alters on Dec. 16, 1995. Vivian M. Johnson Hudson, 79, formerly of Charles St., Portersville (Muddy Creek Twp.) passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville, Pa.
