Sue R. Simi, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at 11:40 p.m. at Marion Manor in Greentree, Pa. Born in Ellwood City on Jan. 7, 1926 Sue was the daughter of the late Pietro and Lilly Mariani Simi. Sue retired from Matthews Conveyor and later Ro-Mar Textiles. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and a former member of the Ellwood City Lioness Club. Sue enjoyed bowling and line dancing, but she enjoyed spending time with family and friends most of all. Cindy D. Miller, 43, of Center Church Road, Ellwood City (Slippery Rock Twp.) died unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015. She was born Jan. 23, 1972 in Clarion, Pa. Cindy worked at St. Moritz Security Services in Austintown, Ohio. She enjoyed going to flea markets. She helped and loved to raise many neighborhood kids. Gertrude M. Kingston, 92, of NorthView Estates, Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, Oct. 19, 2015 at the Ellwood City Hospital. Evelyn Loretta Manzetti, 94, of Franklin Twp. passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 at the Passavant Retirement Community. Evelyn was born on Jan. 20, 1921 in Koppel to the late Angelo and Genevive Ferino Docchio. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parrish. She had worked at the Armstrong Cork in Beaver Falls, Gaylords Paper Mill in Beaver Falls and from the age 59 to 73 she was the owner and operator of Manzetti’s Candies and Pastries in Beaver Falls. Jean DeMark, 94, formerly of Main Street Extension, Wampum, currently residing in Mill Manor Care Facility, Vermilion, Ohio passed away on Oct. 16, 2015. Born Dec. 23,1920 in Ellwood City, she was the oldest daughter of the late Carl and Mary Sheldone Tammaro. She was married in Chattanooga, Tenn. on Nov. 20,1942 to Eugene L. DeMark of Wampum. The couple moved to Columbia, S.C. until Eugene was shipped out to England a few months later to assist the U.S. Army in WWII. Ada Zeigler, 100, of Rhodes Estates passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Born Dec. 15, 1914 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Josephine Aiken Tillia. She was married for 54 years to Wilbur Zeigler who passed away in 2007. Floyd L. Mayberry, 74, of Portersville Rd., Ellport passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at UPMC Passavant Hospital following a lengthy illness.
