Robert “Gizmo” E. Huffman, 75, of Dutch Ridge Road, Ellwood City (Wayne Twp.) passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following an extended battle with colon cancer. Born Oct. 13, 1940 in Ellport, he was the son of the late Wilbert L. and Martha Stanyard Huffman. He was married for 47 years to Linda Aumiller Huffman who survives. Bob retired in 2013 from McClymonds Supply and Transit. Following his retirement, he instructed new drivers. He graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1958. Linda L. Barrow, 55, of New Beaver Borough passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 in her residence. Linda was born on Oct. 27, 1960 in Ellwood City to the late Mathew S. “Popeye” and Mary Rose Ferrigno Franer. She had attended Beaver Falls High School. Linda loved animals, especially horses. She is survived by her two sisters, Tina Franer of Wampum and Julie LaDuke of North Sewickley Twp., and her brother Joe Franer of Koppel. Albert J. Amadio, 85, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 in the Ellwood City Hospital Emergency Room. Amadio was born on Dec. 5, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late Nazzareno and Susan Orsini Amadio. He is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and had served as an usher for many years at the church. Cathy D. Bingle, 59, of Lutz St., Fombell passed away unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital. Born Oct. 12, 1956 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Martha McKeough Fischer. Cathy was married for 40 years to Stan Bingle who survives. Cathy graduated from Riverside High School in 1975. She worked in various positions at the Ellwood City Hospital for 38 years. Cathy was a member of the Riverview Country Community Church in Ellwood. Andrew J. Aniceti, Sr., 92, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 in the Wexford House. Andy was born on June 9, 1923 in New Castle to the late Giovanni and Camille Peltier Aniceti. At the age of 13, Andy joined the Civilian Conservation Corps, a New Deal program that allowed teenagers to work on public related projects. For the next five years he worked on building cabins near the present day location of Seven Springs. Lillie was born on June 1, 1923 in Ellwood City to the late Frank and Lizana Innocent D’Ambrosio, Sr. She had worked as a manager for the Cozy Inn in New Castle for several years, and later as a cook for the former St. Joseph the Worker Assisted Living Home. Alberta Patrizio Wegner, 87, formerly of Ellwood City passed away peacefully following a short illness on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. Alberta was born on June 3, 1928 to the late Stephen and Anna Kulikowski Gumienny in Ellwood City. She was married to Neblo Anthony Patrizio for 45 years.
