Mr. William G. Strouse, Jr., 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Butler. Mr. Strouse was born on July 6, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late William G. and Agnes Leymarie Strouse, Sr.. Bill served with the U.S. Army from November 16, 1948 until his discharge on November 28,m 1951 with the 39th Field Artillery Battalion and held the rank of corporal. Russell H Ehrenberg, 87, of Wampum died on Saturday, October 15, at the Jameson Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Born August 23, 1929 in Beaver Falls, PA, he was raised by his adoptive parents, the late August and Fannie Barr Ehrenberg. He was married 65 years to Kathryn James Ehrenberg, she survives. Russ retired from the New Castle Refractories after 19 years of service. He was affiliated with the Wampum Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed auto repair and maintenance work. Joanna K. Zagorski, 68, of 626 Portersville Road, Wurtemburg, passed away at the Ellwood City Hospital on Friday, October 14, 2016. Born in New Brighton, PA on January 5, 1948, Joanna was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Kathleen Eddy Leonard.  Joanna was a 1965 graduate of Beaver Falls High School.  She retired from ESB Bank in 2014 after twenty years of service.  Joanna enjoyed knitting, completing crossword puzzles and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Benjamin “Ben” Liss, 88, of Pershing Street, Ellwood City, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Golden Hills Nursing Center in New Castle.
