Born in Wurtemburg on August 29, 1926, Dave was the son of the late George Harry and Mary Jane Wimer Cook.   He was an active member of Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church where he was a former Elder and Usher. Born in Ellwood City on February 19, 1914, Agnes was the daughter of the late Andrew and Esther Simon Swartz. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1933 and married Frederick W.
