Lois Gay Richards, 86, of Country Club Dr., Ellwood City passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her residence. Born June 20, 1931 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Margaret Nagel West . She was married in 1957 to R. Thomas Richards who passed away in 1998. Lois graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949. She graduated in 1952 as a Registered Nurse from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. Michael J. McCutcheon, 56, of Kyle Rd., New Castle (North Beaver Twp.) passed away at his home on Friday, March 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with lymphoma. Born January 28, 1962 in New Brighton, he was the son of the John and Bonnie Jones McCutcheon of New Brighton. Mike was married for 30 years to Wendy Lipp McCutcheon who survives. Patricia G. Quinn Shoaf, 64, of  Beaver Falls (North Sewickley Twp.), passed away peacefully into Jesus’ arms, on  Wednesday evening,  March  28, 2018 after a 16 month  courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Ellwood City on January 5 1954 to the late Warren Quinn and  Emma Virginia Aiken Quinn of  North Sewickley, who survives. Patti graduated in the class of 1972   at Riverside High School, and attended Slippery Rock University. Donald Cooper, 81, of Volpes Way, Ellwood City (Wayne Twp.) passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born September 27, 1936 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Millard Cooper and the late Emma Tritt Cooper LeFever . He was married to Charlotte Hogue Cooper who survives. Don retired as a millwright in 2000 following 35 years of service at the Ellwood City Forge. Following his retirement, he repaired small engines and lawnmowers.
