Mr. Walter Meyer, 77, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Mr. Meyer was born on January 21, 1941 in Pittsburgh to the late John and Viola (Brown) Meyer. He had graduated from the South Vocational School in Pittsburgh. He was a machinist by trade. Walt was full of love and cared for everyone he met. We miss him and love him always. Robert J. Tomko Sr., 83, of West Pittsburg passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his residence following a short illness. Born July 19, 1934 in Struthers, Ohio, he was the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia Baron Tomko. He was married to Patricia Mahon Tomko for 59 years. She survives. Robert retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube where he was a carpenter. He graduated from Struthers High School and was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Parish. Dolores Marie (Newton) Lutz, 95, formerly of Fombell passed away peacefully Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Carriage Court in Shenango Twp. Born August 28, 1922 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Lillian F. Turner Newton . She was married to Carl A. Lutz who passed away May 15, 1994. Mrs. Christine G. Casciato, 93 of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Avalon Nursing Center. Mrs. Casciato was born on July 19, 1924 in Ellwood City to the late Bernado and Damiana (Losacco) Sera. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1942. Christine worked at Silver Blatts as a sales clerk, and later at Lincoln High School as a cafeteria worker. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. Mr. Carl E. French, 77, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Providence Care Center. Mr. French was born on April 8, 1941 in Ellwood City to the late Claire E. French, Sr. and Mary E. (Phillippi) French. Carl worked as a truck driver for Heron Trucking Co., GCIU Trucking, and the George K. Garrett Co.. Theresa Rocco DeLoia born August 10, 1922 passed away peacefully May 10, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Theresa was retired from Ellwood City Hospital where she worked in food service for over 30 years. For 67 years she was the beloved wife of the late Paul “Arch” DeLoia. Mrs. DeLoia was a member of the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City. Theresa enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends, the Gameshow Network, Bingo, and Dancing at Sons of Italy. Nora M. Wiley, 79, of Franklin Twp. Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital following a short illness. Born March 17, 1939 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel Baldwin Louden . Nora was married to LaVern A. “Dern” Wiley for 36 years when he passed away November 11, 1994. Born June 19, 1951 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ardnol Williams and Maxine Ricer Williams Fitch. He was married to Carol Orock Williams who survives. Dorothy   “Jean” West  Swick,    82,  formerly of Fombell, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Wednesday evening, May 2 2018 at the Carriage Manor   near  New Castle. She was born in  Crider’s Corners  (Cranberry Twp.) on her family’s farm, on  January 23 1936  to the late Abraham and Dorothy Daufen West.
