Mrs. Betty L. Olinger, 77, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in the UPMC Passavant Hospital. Mrs. Olinger was born on January 28, 1939 in Ellwood City to the late Domenico and Rena Lanam Greco. Betty had worked at the Blaire Nursing Home, and at the Oasis restaurant as a waitress. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed karaoke, country music, and baking especially cakes. Clyde L. Bowers, 90 formerly of North Sewickley Twp. passed away at Magnolias of Lancaster on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11:14 AM. Born in Franklin Twp., PA on July 9, 1926, Clyde was the son of the late Charles and Lora Moyer Bowers. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Melva Quinn in 1994. Beloved by many, Mrs. Hangst was almost universally described as “wonderful” by those who knew her.
