David A. Bailey, 71, of North Sewickley Twp., Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his residence. Born November 20, 1947 in Grantsville, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles and Evelyn Sears Bailey. He was married for 49 years to Catherine Deal Bailey who survives. David worked at IPSCO, Koppel Steel and was a Veteran of the Army. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Ellwood City. David enjoyed camping and wood working. Tanya Jean Andrews Ables, 45, of Ellwood City (North Sewickley Twp.) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from a heart attack at Forbes Regional Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born April 7, 1973 in Danville, Indiana, Tanya was the daughter of Al and Dorothy Snyder Andrews of Ellwood City. Tanya graduated in 1991 from Lincoln High School where she played softball and was a member of the Marching Band. Gloria Giovannini, 92, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Northview Estates. She was born in Ellwood City on March 5, 1926 to the late Filippo and Irene (Peuto) Giovannini. She was a teacher in the Junior High School in Ellwood City for 38 years teaching English, Literature, Reading and Remedial Reading. She was a graduate of Geneva College in 1948 and received an M.A. in Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1959. She retired from teaching in 1986. She traveled widely in Europe and Russia. Mrs. Grant was born on June 12, 1927 in Ellwood City to the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Arena) Rocco. She had attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Mrs. Frances Jean Park, 93 of Ellwood City passed on 12/28/18 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver due to complications from a stroke. She was the daughter of the late Frank Hartman and Mary Hartman Brewer, born 11/18/25 in Buffalo, New York. She was an amazing woman who loved her family unconditionally.
