Patricia was born on April 16, 1942 in New Castle to the late Jim W. and Margaret T. Hollschwander Cable. She is a member of the3 Lincoln High School class of 1960, and the Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Pauline Christie, 105, formerly of Ellport passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Katera’s Kove. Mrs. Christie was born on March 30, 1912 in Wampum to the late Frank and Rose Pastin Wilson. She had graduated from the New Castle Business School and the Beaver Falls School of Beauty. Pauline was the owner and operator of Pauline Christie’s Beauty Shop in Ellport for many years. Mr. Robert L. Clark, 92, formerly of Shenango Twp. passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Countryside Nursing Home in Mercer. Mr. Clark was born on July 6, 1925 in Warriors Mark, Pa to the late Harold F. and Marion F. Maines Clark. He had attended the Warriors Mark High School, and served with the U.S. Navy from October 27, 1943 until February 14, 1946 as a Seaman First Class. Mrs. Juliet (Julie) Marie Ottobre Plavecsky, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in her residence. She was born on July 8, 1929 to the late Luigi and Catherine Loccisano Ottobre in Ellwood City. Julie was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1947 and was employed at the former Ellwood City Knitting Mill and the former Mattress Plant. Brenda L. McCormick (née Shaner), 65, of Ellwood City, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, surrounded by family at Good Samaritan Hospice. From her birth on June 11, 1952, until her death, she served the Lord and extended love, kindness, and faith to those around her. She was born and raised in Portersville to Robert and Lela Shaner and was the eldest of three children.
