Delores M. Weingartner, 85, of Ellwood Rd., (Wayne Twp.) passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at her residence. Born February 18, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith Ross Filippone. She was married for 66 years to Harold “Bucky” Weingartner as they were married May 5, 1951. He survives. Delores graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. She was a beautician at her own shop, Delores Weingartner’s Beauty Shop for over 25 years. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. Mrs. Isabelle “Izzie” N. Catarcio, 98, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the Carriage Manor Personnel Care Home. Mrs. Catarcio was born on November 17, 1918 in Beaver Falls to the late Louis and Theresa Chiapetta Muoio. She had attended the Beaver Falls High School. Isabelle worked at Dust Proof Manufacturing in Ellwood City as a seamstress for 20 years. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Christian Mothers of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Mrs. Ann Ferruchie, 92, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Banner Medical Center in Casa Grande, Arizona. John A. Calabria, 87, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully at the Community Living Center at the VA Medical Center in Butler, on Sunday afternoon, June 11 20017. Warren Peffer, 75, of Perry Township passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 following a long battle with cancer. Born March 6, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Marion and Thelma Rupert Peffer. He was married for 48 years to Nancy M. Peffer who passed away November 21, 2016. James J. Scala, 84, of 35th St., Beaver Falls passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver. Leonard A. “Bobo” Agnello, 80, of Kittanning (formerly of Wampum) was called home by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. “Bo” was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a cottage parent, barber instructor, and bounty hunter all at George Jr. Republic, At George Jr, he also coached and instructed the drill team, winning many competitions. Richard H. Householder, 67, of Wurtemburg, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital. Born on August 19, 1949 in Ellwood City, Richard was the son of the late Leroy and Betty Wilson Householder.  A graduate of Lincoln High School, Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was an avid Steeler fan.  He was Presbyterian by faith. Ralph Melfi Jr., 82, formerly of Mt. Vernon Dr., Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Community Living Center of the Veterans Hospital in Butler. Born February 7, 1935 in Wampum, he was the eldest son of the late Ralph and Philomena Barile Melfi Sr. He was married to Kay Takako Melfi for 40 years when she passed away January 4, 2000.
