Dorothy E. McClintick, 88, of Trinity Oaks Nursing Home, formerly of McKinley St., Ellwood City passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness. Born August 23, 1929 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Pearl Weisz Weller. She was married to Jack C. McClintick who passed away April 24, 2009. Dorothy was a member and former Deacon at the Calvin Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels Program in Ellwood for many years. Her most cherished time was spent with family. Mrs. Sarah Costa, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Ellwood City Hospital. Mrs. Costa was born on December 8, 1928 in Ellwood City to the late Anthony and Christina Toma Casuccio. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1946. Sarah also graduated from the New Castle Beauty School, and attended classes at West Minister College, Slippery Rock College, and the University of Pittsburgh. David Michael Lordi, 63, of Williamsport, formerly of Ellwood City, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017 following a lengthy illness. Born in Ellwood City on January 30, 1954, David was the son of the late Angelo and Helen Giacobbi Lordi. Ruth Bleakney  Holzhauser, 97, of New Castle PA, passed away peacefully on  Monday, September  4 2017  after an  illness. The daughter of  the late Eugene  Bleakney, and   Edythe Magee Bleakney,  Ruth was born in Ellwood City in August 1920.  She was the devoted big sister to   Shirley Bleakney Houck (deceased),   and Kenneth Bleakney, and Norma Bleakney McClintick. Mr. Douglas E. Cosgrove, 67, of Park Gate passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Mr. Cosgrove was born on April 23, 1950 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Gale and Lola Riezer Cosgrove.
