Joyce Georgia Poole Snowden,  89, formerly of Beaver and North Sewickley, passed away peacefully on Thursday,  February 8, 2018 in the Wesbury UM Retirement Center in  Meadville, PA. She was born September 16, 1928 in Steubenville, OH to the late Edgar Alan Poole and Georgianna Ramaley Poole. She graduated from New Brighton High School in 1946 and married the late Donald L. Snowden in 1948. She resided in Beaver, PA for many years where she was  a member of Park United Presbyterian Church there.  She also lived in North Sewickley where she  attended North Sewickley Presbyterian Church. Charles W. Evans, Jr., 59, of Butler PA,  formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday evening, February 6  2018 at a friend’s residence. He was born in Ellwood City on February 2 1959 to Joan Gosciewski  Evans of Ellwood City, and the late Charles William Evans Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Evans. He is survived by, in addition to his mother Joan Evans, by two sons,  Christopher J. Evans of Newport NC;  and Charles David Evans of Elizabeth City NC. Marilyn Grace Geniviva, 64, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her residence. Born December 2, 1953 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Helen U. Konowaluk and Cosmo S. Geniviva Sr. Marilyn graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971. She braved a 20 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Marilyn was known for her sense of humor, strong will, and her generosity. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. Norman E. McKinney, 85, of Brighton Rd., Ellwood City (North Sewickley Twp.) passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the VNA Hospice in Butler following a brief illness. Born August 16, 1932 in Frisco, he was the son of the late Walter McKinney and the late Thelma Bartle McKinney Smith.  He was married for 63 years to Rosalie Hover McKinney who survives. Rob was born on March 16, 1956 in Ellwood City to the late George R. and Sue M. Slavik Moskal. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1974. Robert J. Rossi, 91, of Glen Ave, Ellwood City died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida. Bob was a man who will always be remembered for all that he created and for all the lives he touched. He was born September 1, 1926, the son of the late Patsy and Perina Martucci Rossi. Phyllis Jean   Main Gordon, 89, of Ellwood City,  passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, January 31, 2018 at the Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle, after an extended illness. She was born in Ellwood City on May 5 1928 to the late Curtis  and Edith Majors  Main. She was a longtime member of  Park Gate Baptist Church.
